KPMG Community Day - Mandai Zoo

Yesterday was the annual Community Day of KPMG, whereby we would bring all the charity organisations that was under our care, to the zoo for a day full of fun and laughters! In the past few months, KPMG have been collecting donations within the company, coming out with the promotions and to raise funds. These funds were being presented to the charity organisations yesterday.

Charity Organsiation under our unit is Grace Orchard. Its a school for children who need special care. We reached the Zoo at 8am in the morning and the kids arrived half an hr later. As there were only 10 kids, we were being paired up with a ratio of 2-3 auditors to 1 kid. The kid that was assigned to me is Naxxxx. She is a quiet kid with a bit of autism. The trip to the zoo was a short one as the kids needs to get back to school at ard 11am. We only went to see a few animals and thereafter settled down at the Amphitheatre to watch the animal show.

After sending off the kids, we went back into the zoo to collect our lunch. It was a very dry box of fried rice..lol..most of my colleagues didnt even touch their lunch.. at least i ate half of it..cannot waste food mah :P The event actually ended ard 5pm, but as we dun have a second batch of kids, we were "free to go". We discreetly (actually very hard, as all of us were wearing the same blue and white KPMG T-shirt) make our way to the entrance. Hee, cant resist the Ben n Jerry there, thus ordered my favourite flavour.
New York Super Fudge Chunk, YUMMY!!

Meet up with Law as its his off day and accomany him to meet up with his Financial Adviser for his half yearly updates. After that met up with his frens and went for a drink. Hee..must enjoy my time when i still can. I can foresee my comming peak (ard Oct, as a 1st yr senior) to be super duper busy...hai...

Something that Law said (which i am very touched) and would remember forever - 2 drops not worth it. (Bu Zhi De, Bu Zhi De...)
