Cruise briefing

Went for the cruise briefing last thursday. It happens to be Law's off day, so he managed to come pick me up after work and we went together. Met Michell and her htb Calvin while on our way up to the restaurant. Michell managed to get a big table (to accomodate the 3 couples; Michell n Calvin, Candice and Michael and us) so that we can all sit together. The briefing started late and we were made to wait for about half an hr. While waiting, chatted with Michell. This is our first time meeting and she is a very approachable person. Glad that we can hit off quite well :D

Also before the briefing, 2 stylewedding personnel went around interviewing and filming the couples, asking us how we felt about the win. They started with the partner who wrote in the entry and then go on to their other half. Haha..as law as the only guy (among the 3 couples) who wrote in for the contest, he was made to speak first (haha luckily i wasnt the one who wrote in :P)

Cant wait for the video to be on the net. Think this would be Law's 1st time on tv (not for me thou :P). The briefing was pretty fast, talking about the trip and what we are expected to do. The workshop would be on the 1st night and would last for 3 hrs (there will be more filming onboard). Before the trip, ie for the 1st and 2nd week of Nov, the couples are suppose to go online and ans 10 qns per week. Each correct ans will earn 5 pts and after the 20 qns, the top 10 couples with the most pts will compete against each other at the bridal workshop itself onboard Libra. The prizes include bridal package, photography packages, Soo Kee brilliant rose rings and some honeymoon packages. We have actaully gotten most of the items for our own wedding, but we wont mind the honeymoon package :P! There would also be a "most romantic photo" contest during the trip. What we need to do is to capture some photos onboard and submit our best shot. Hee.think it would be a fun trip! Cant wait...

After the briefing, Law went to queue and pay for the trip. He was suprised that one of the organiser from stylewedding actually recognise him and congras him on his unusual proposal :D Haa.. we didnt expect the organiser to remember the stories that they read, especially when there are so many couples who wrote in and 30 winning couples on that night itself...haa so Law was very happy that his proposal was being "acknowledged".

Congras to Michell and Candice, they won the 5th week's stylewedding contest too! Hee can finally meet Michell. She is one of my new found bride fren from the forum. Her wedding is on next yr Sept too. So far we have only chatted in the forum and on msn..have yet to meet up ...cant wait man!! :D So see you gals this thursday during the briefing! Yippe!!! Law just sms me saying that his leave has been approved!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!! So i would be going for the cruise!! Happiest thing that has happened today!!

Staying?

Just got to know that 2 of my colleague tendered their resignation last friday. Even though this doesnt came as a suprise to me, but was still feeling down for the whole day. Now only left the 3 of us for my level (as in position). Me feels like leaving too..as recession is coming, it would not be easy if i am gg to wait till next yr, after the wedding, then leave.

Me gg for an interview tomolo. Have mixed feeling gg for this interview. This is another big company. Exposure wise should be good and name of company would look good on my resume. But work wise wont be easy and hrs would also be long too. In addition, in the event that i am being offered, it means that i have to forgo my bonus, which would at least be 2 mths. Even though my current company's bonus payout is in jul, but given that our wedding is next yr and our house has yet to come, this money really means alot. Hai..so will just leave it to fate.

Am feeling nervous now :P been a good 4 yrs since my last interview experience...

My proposal

As mentioned earlier, Law wrote in our proposal story and won the cruise contest. The story has just been published on stylewedding website only...and OMG i look so fat in the photo! Its taken last nov when we went diving at pulua hantu. Law's leave still not approve yet..continue to cross finger...

Yesterday out of the blue, Law sent me some photos. Dunno how he did it, but its rather interesting :)

Not going?

Most likely we wont be going le..sob sob sob.....stupid job...leave most likely wont be approved... $1500++...wasted just like that..... no shopping at KL, no feasting at Penang..... HAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We won!

We finally won a contest!!! Or rather Law won it! :D its the "True Love Stories" Contest, conducted by style wedding. He wrote in an entry and only told me today after he received a notification email, informing him that he won!

Every week, Style wedding will choose 5 winning entries and the couples get to go for a free 4D 3N cruise onboard Superstar Libra for cruise to KL/Penang. In addition to that, there would be bridal workshop onboard, from experts from the different bridal industry, giving tips and advice on planning for the big day.

Happy that we won, but sad to say, we might not be able to go for the trip as Law's leave is still pending, which he would only know by end of the month (cos they having quite a few major events in Nov)...keeping my fingers super cross now.....

Getting old

Think i am really getting old already. Today is my 4th day back at work and i am already having a headache and feeling very tired. Me still at my client's office. Decide to take a break thus updating my blog. Its only 9+ now and i cant concentrate on reading the docs anymore...the words are swimming right in front of my eyes and i am tired...hai...this is going to be a loooonnnggg peak.

Last day

Today marks the last day of my 1 month leave. Am feeling super bluez abt gg back to work on monday. Hai.....am so totally enjoying my leave slacking at home. Cant imagine the days back to waking up at 7am, eating dinner only at 9pm+, not able to go shopping on weekdays, not able to sleep till i auto wake up, not able to surf net like nobody biz (even thou sometimes i do surf net while working :P), not able to watch shows on laptops, not able to go dwn for a swim as and when i like. Hai...me gg to miss it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye leave....hello work....here i come :(
