Finally went to cut and re-prem my hair today. It has been looking like a bunch of wild grass for a very long time. Now it just feels so light and fluffy haha..It sort of lift my mood too. Been quite weepy for the past few weeks..a little bit of things would trigger me off..think is due to work. i SUPER HATE this client that i am handling now. I used to do it when i was a junior (for 2 years), skipped a yr (last yr) and it became my job again this year...it used to be such a nice and smooth job..now..its a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!! Luckily my manager said that its wont be under me again for next yr...phew...
Got my promo cum bonus letter yesterday. Was a bit suprsie too cos my partner (boss) actually came out to distribute the letter. In the past, she would just call us into her office. No of mths for bouns was a bit disappointing...she mentioned that its on par with the other Big 4..but there are rumours that EY is getting an avg of 3.25 mths...sigh...anyway, I still went for a little celebration at LPS with Jase, Yenling and Beverley. This was our first time, eating at LPS (the road side stalls), where they serve the satays, stingrays, BBQ chicken wings and "Zhi Cha". Hahaha..imagine, after 4 yrs at KPMG, this was our first! Tsk tsk tsk....we started dinner at 7+ and chat and chat and chat and only left at 10+. Its was a good nite and i felt way better in weeks. Hopefully this mood would continue..but judging on the expectation of my new level...i think its gonna to be hard..a few of my level's colleagues are planning to leave the firm after getting the bouns...they said its not worth the money, for that level of work, pressure, expectation and stress...for me..i really dunno..i am getting fed up in audit..but i dun like accounts..and banks need banking experience..so it seems that there are really a limited choice of places that i could go, that could pay me as good as what i am getting now...in addition, no job would give me as many leave and flexibility as i have in audit. If i am getting married next year, leave and flexibility are very impt factors, judging that law can only go on off days on weekdays. Meaning, planning and arranging and coordinating cannot be left to be done on weekends...hai...lots of factors to consider....
So...am just waiting for my portfolio to be out first then decide. Looking fwd to my diving trip in Jul!! Its a long awaited break from work!!
