Skyler has been sick for the past few days with blocked nose. Brought him to the GP on wednesday and doc gave a nasal drop. At first he seems to be better, but till this morning, CL says that Skyler hasnt been sleeping properly in the night and is having difficulty breathing. Can hear the "xu xu" sound when he breathe. And this morning, he didnt manage to finish his milk as he need to breathe and drink via the mouth at the same time! S0 poor thing, thus we quickly brought him to a PD to have his mucus suck out.
We went to this PD at Jurong East. Got a good impression for this clinic. The nurses are very friendly and nice n am quite comfortable with the PD too. The PD told me that she is gg to suck his mucus out and assure me that Skyler wont feel any pain, just that they need to pump some water in to clear his nose, so he would for sure cry. The PD asked me not to see when they are doing the pumping process. At first i resist the temptation to see, but after hearing Skyler crying so loudly (he has nv cried so loudly before!!), i cant help it but to peep. Then i see one of the nurse holding Skyler down and PD putting tubes into this nostrils. Skyler was practically screaming and i felt so heartache when i saw it. Now i know why the PD advised me not to see..in the end, i was crying together with him...but luckily after this, he was feeling much better and was crying for milk shortly after that. At least he managed to sleep better and there isnt anymore of the "xu xu" sound.
Back at home, i can surely see that he is feeling much better cos he is back to his smiley mood again. :)
