Honeymoon Day 2 - Carins

As our flight is not a direct flight, we have to transit at Melbourne. The transit period is for 5 hrs! We reached Melbourne (their time) at 430am..and waited and waited till about 9am+ for our connecting flight to Carins..damn sleepy.

At Melbourne airport. Its only 12 degree.

The cab fare in australia is very expensive! The ride from airport to our motel is a mere 15 mins and it cost us AUD30+! Carins accomodation is the cheapest one which we have booked for our entire Aust trip. At first, i was still afraid that it would be quite bad. But lucky it turns out pretty good. Clean and spacious.

As we still have a bit of time left after we check-in, we decided to go to the local supermarket to buy some food/snacks. Then we saw this :

Haa, didnt expect to see such chinese food in their supermarket!

And this too!

Their supermarket close at 6pm, thus we got to rush thru our shopping. Dinner for the nite is roast chicken, garlic bread and chips.
