Charity

Just came back from a "charity activiy" that was organised by Candice. She would organise such event annually. The year before was to a children's home and this time round, she gathered a bunch of us and we would be buying stuffs for the needy families. So today's acitivity is to go to the houses of these families (she got the list from CDC) and sort of talk to them and see what are the things they need. And for the coming week, we would consolidate the lists, buy the things, pack and deliver to them on sunday (hopefully i can make it). We splitted into groups and each group were incharge of about 15-18 families.

These families, no doubt are needy, but they are not greedy. Things which they do not need, they would tell us. Unlike some normal families/ppl, when you tell them that its free, they would take everything whether they need it or not.

After that, Quentin, Emily, Xuehui and i went to Island Creamy for some ice cream before heading home.

With Xuehui. My ice cream favour: Black Forest (there is rum inside) and Pulau Hitam. Xuehui's Cookies and Cream and Pulau Hitam.
