Honeymoon Day 9
Woke up to a very warm bed but cold surrounding. Almost didnt wanna get out of the bed. The floor was freezing and so are our clothes. With a reluctant heart, we finally got up, wash and changed. Hee to our delight, we were greeted by a very welcoming dinning room!
Breakfast prepared and ready
With a fireplace to get the room warm (in addition, there is also a radiator in the room)

Whats better than to have a english breakfast in a fireplace lit room and reading the papers?
Their entertainment room (where there are TV and board games and of cos , another fireplace)
There are a few of such patio around the house.
And there are lots of teddies lying around the house too.
We bought tickets for the Trolley bus, which would bring us to the main attractions of Blue mt, which includes Honeymoon lookout, Echo point (where the "Three Sisters" are) and the Scenic World. Its suppose to be a hop on and off bus, but i think we kinda wasted the bus ticket, cos we only used the bus to echo point and back. Our original plan was to take bus to honeymoon lookout, echo point and scenic world. But in the end, our first stop was to Echo point after which we decided to hike to Scenic World. By the time we finished Scenic world, its already almost 5pm, thus we didnt have the time to go to Honeymoon Lookout. So it means, we only took the bus twice. One trip there and one trip back...wasted the hop on and off feature..duhz...
There is a story behind the Three Sisters. Its said that back in the olden days, there lived 3 beautiful sisters. 3 warriors from another village took likings to these 3 sisters and wanted to marry them. But the father of the 3 sisters object and the warriors declared war on the sister's village, intending to take them by force. A magician then turned the 3 sisters into stones to prevent them from being taken by force. But before the magician can turn the 3 sisters back, he was killed in the war, thus the 3 sisters remains up to today, as stones.

Below are some pics which I have taken at Blue mt
It took us over an hr to hike from Echo point to Scenic world and it was freezing at 7 degree! Our hands were freezing and Law's ears were freezing too. Then suddenly we remembered that the overnight kit (which consist of socks, toothbrush, toothpaste and the eye shade) which Quantas provided was in Law's camera bag! Haa, then, we used the socks as:
Better to use it as gloves, else i wont be able to take photos. The feeling is almost like sticking ur hand into the freezer..yes, its that cold.
Finally he cannot take it, and took out his cuckoo cap (from his windbreaker), to keep his ears warm..lucky i got my hair..lol
At Scenic world, there were more hiking to do, but there were also rides to take. 3 rides to be precise, which include "Skyway", "Railway" and "Cableway". We first took the Skyway ride, which is like a cable car ride, only that the floor is a see-thru glass and its much better. We took the Skyway ride to the main meeting pt at Scenic World where we stopped for lunch and after which we took the Railway ride to the bottom of the mt and continue our hiking to another area where we took the Cableway ride back to the top.

This is the railway ride. Its the steepest railway "tram" in the world. Its really very steep and will make u feel like u r gg to fall forward. The tram shows in this photo is actually in its stationary position which is consider as "horizontal". After it move slight forward, it becomes real "vertical", thus its steepnes.
At the bottom, we hiked to Katoomba waterfall
Heee, some naughty pics with the statutes there
:X
:X
When we were back to Katoomba main town, we need to hide in supermarket for some warmth and we came across the hats section! Almost tempted to get one each as they were very cheap! Only AUD7..but considering the fact that we would be leaving Blue mt for Sydney the next day, we didnt buy them.
