The real me?
What's the real me? Am I a selfish bitch who doesn't put others in my shoe? Am I the self centered person who thinks that I m always right? What makes one to change ? All the sacrifices that I have made , the thinks I did n am doing were all turned into ashes just becos I didnt help you do certain things. So now you say you see the real me...All these years.....seriously ... is it worth it I ask myself. Maybe at first yes and now maybe not anymore. I m seriously very tired. Tired of putting you in front of me. Tired of making the kids n you my priority . What I did was unappreciated and taken for granted. What's the point?

Sick sick mommy
Mommy is sick! Not sure where was the virus from.
38.8! Been a long long time since I was this sick. Felt so cold through out the night. Was given 2 days MC n I slept thru the first day. Luckily fever break towards the end of day 1 but was still feeling weak.
The amt of med that I was given. Sian max....
By day 2, I was feeling better n nesting instinct sets in. It's housework day! Washed 3 loads of laundry plus sweep n mop the floor . The floor has been so dirty recently ! I have been mopping for the past 3 days but still the floor is dusty !
Saw this disgusting lizard in the basin! Scared the hell out of me early in the morning . I think it was trapped there n didn't managed to crawl out. Yewh....
My virus has spreaders to my poor girl! She was having fever on my day 2.
Super cranky. Poor baby. Mommy is sorry that she had passed her virus to you!

Fun evening at Sentosa
Went for a impromptu trip to sentosa. Just me n my 2 kids. In fact it's my first time bringing 2 out alone myself. Brought them to sit cable car n tiger towers thereafter to look for daddy at his restaurant (no more chances soon).
The kids were so excited ! Skyler had been asking to sit the cable car for a few times alr. So finally brought him there again.

Went to TOA to look for daddy n boy was Jazelle generous with her smile , hello n flying kiss. Charmed all daddy's colleagues .
Last stop went to Song of the Sea where Skyler was damn scare of the fireworks. Daddy felt generous too n bought each a small Oscar Fish.
Mommy felt sick at the end of the day.

Bronchitis
Jazelle was down with bronchitis for the last couple of days. Poor girl! I didn't tot it would be bronchitis . Only tot it was very bad cough with a lot of phlegm. Lucky I brought her to the pd. Was asked to nebulise her for 3 days n to go back for review on Monday.
A nebuliser machine is actually like a diffuser except that it's connected to a mask. Medicine is added n machine diffuse it into mist for breathing in. It's not painful to the patient. I reckon J is just afraid of the sound of the machine.
While at the pd
Sat - crying n whining thru out the process. The day before was struggling n screaming n crying !
Once she sees the mask she will start to cry...my poor girl !
Sun - seems like she is getting used to it. No whining but I have to use the phone to distract her.

Ang bao
Just took out all the ab of Skyler n Jazelle n took a count for it. Last yr was quite messy as I didn't separate the two's ab. This yr hubby asked me to take 2 envelope, labelled with their names. I was telling hubby actually no need cos ppl when giving S would also give J right. His reply was u nv know... Well I was skeptical at first but boy was he right! Skyler ab is lesser than J's by $40! Not sure how but it's just short of. In the end I used my ab to top up for S.
As from the count, can see that this yr's ab shrink. Got quite a few of $2 n $4 and even with one that was empty! It wasn't a mistake by the giver cos both S n J received an empty ab , both with ab of recruit express. Well, one word of comment, stingy!!! At least a $2 or some sweets is better than empty right?! What's the meaning of empty?! Might As well dun give ! Still wan 面子in front of others that's y gave an empty one ? Hai.... Nothing to say to such ppl.

Soaking in the CNY mood
This year, hubby took more effort in decorating the house for CNY. We had a new coat of paint for the ceiling of our kitchen n hall (that's how my coach bag was stained!! By hubby!! Argh...) n we also painted part of the wall in the hall. More decors were up.

RP mommies CNY luncheon

Went for my first CNY lunch with my RP mommies. In case u r wondering what does RP stands for, it's Raffles Place. They are actually a group of dec mommies who worked in raffles place. We have been meeting almost every week for lunch.
Lunch today was at Peach Garden @ OCBC building. Quite a nice environment but super crowded.
The Yu Sheng was quite nice but the other food were so so only. Custard bun disappointing ....
Huat ah! Not all RP mommies are here. N there is a special guest; Cae.
Lunch were rushed as I needa be back by 2pm. But still it was a good lunch with good company :D

New year, new hair

Hubby n I went to Mark's place for a overhaul of our hair. I simply went for a trim n new dyes. Hubby on the other hand changed a new hairstyle, well which i would say is not bad at all.
Like alien which "feet" on my head lol
Hub looks like a porcupine lollll
The end result: mine- red highlights which wasn't really obvious when that photo was taken. But now, one week dwn the road, it's quite red.
Hub- copper brown colour. With this new hair style , he looks younger n not so uncle? Haha..

Finally
Finally gave up n went to resize my proposal ring. Partly cos I put on weight but mainly due to the expansion of my finger joint. Ring got stuck at the knuckles.

My mommies buddies
Did I mentioned that while I was preggy with Jazelle, I get to know a bunch of amazing frens? They are my dec mommies. Fun, crazy, bitchy type of ppl. Hehe n I like them! We have regular lunch dates. Once in a while play date n recently we had a "Me Day" just to pamper ourselves n have a break from our kids n work. We venture to JB n did mani pedi, hair n some of them did massage too.
We took bus into jb n it's a first for many of them. All was so excited n nervous abt the trip. Lol cos of the frequency of robbery in jb most are paranoid. Our protective measures includes dressing lok cork style n carry sling bag. Trying to blend in like locals but I think we failed big time. Lol... Our target for the day was to have brunch at 顺顺肉骨荼 then to ksl for the various activities.
Our first time taking bus in jb. Practice here is to wait for the bus driver to come on board then pay the fare n get the tickets.
First stop, brunch. 顺顺肉骨荼 is a MUST eat when u r in jb! It's SUPER nice!
Yumm... I m alr feeling hungry looking at the photos.

Most of us went for mani m pedi. Went to this place call Nails Studio for the mani pedi
Not a bad place n have wifi . However they are not very honest n have hidden cost in their pricing. But still, it's much cheaper than in Sg. At first I only wanted to do pedi as I have alr booked with Ruowei to do at Westgate. But the design n pricing is too good to be missed. So ended up I did both hehe.
My nails. Nice ?
I also went for wash n blow together with Tricia but it's a total flop. Got cheated as they merely brought us to the basin for wash
n blow. There isn't any massage etc.
For the trip, I bought a Chanel Handphone casing ( which I m using now! ) , a pair of shoe for Jazelle n some new yr goodies. Had a fun day! Hope we can do it again soon. Right mommies ? *wink*
